AminoAcids.com was founded in November of 1993, by Frank Konstantinides. The site was previously known as The Scientific Research Consortium Inc. In October 1994, AminoAcids.com became incorporated in the state of Minnesota. Our facility filed and received a CLIA registration Certification on February 16th, 1994 and was issued license number 24D0882688 by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Our facility was then inspected by the Minnesota Department of Health on October 31st, 1994 and received its CLIA laboratory Certificate of Compliance at that time. 

In 2024, Scientific Research Consortium was accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for free amino acid, clinical free amino acid, and European Pharmacopeia amino acid test methods (accreditation number 7279.01).
